Chelsea, is my Standard Poodle and my pride and joy....
At 3 months of age I used to drop her off at day care 2 to 3 times a week so she could have interaction with other dogs. (I thought that she needed this) I also took her to off leash parks to interact and learn to play with other dogs 4 times a week. She was a busy puppy.
Within the year I noticed a change in her behavior, and when I would come early to pick her up from daycare she was with larger dogs and usually huddled in a corner or in a room alone. The reason they told me, was because she was aggressive towards some of the dogs.
I STOPPED TAKING HER THERE !!! So off to the off leash parks twice a day 4 times a week. Where with in the next year she started to become very aggressive with other dogs that came anywhere near her or me. That finished us in off leash parks and I reverted to open fields, were I would scout out the area to make sure there were no other dogs around, if the cost was clear we got to enjoy our walk. I would keep a careful watch for dogs showing up, this became very difficult at times and when another dog did show up, our walk was finished sometime it was very short, we then had to look for another place to walk. I had to be careful on the street walks too. She would lung at any dog that would walk by us, and try to attack them. Sooooo walks in public areas stopped also. Within the next couple of years she sent 2 dogs to the vet and bit my daughters friend in the face and sent him to the hospital for stitches. I then lost all confidence in myself and my dog!!
I needed help!!! I found WAYNE and DOGZIES. This young man is very dedicated to helping dogs and their owners with sever problems. Within a week, Wayne's total devotion, time and efforts pay off, and I watch as my Girl lay down quietly with 12 and more dogs all around her, not bothering any of them. I can now walk her anywhere I like. thanks to Wayne, who I call my hero, giving me back my life and my dog...
I also have a wonderful pup Brandi, who was a very shy and fearful pup around other dogs and people, with Wayne's help this matter was easily diminished and I can now enjoy and treasurer my walks with both my Girls.
Wayne truly cares for the well being of all dogs and their owners and goes above and beyond the call of duty for you and your dog.
Thank You Wayne, for giving me back self confidence and pride, in myself, and my dogs.
