In my opinion, Wayne is one of the most thoughtful and sensitive dog trainers in the Okanagan area. Wayne reads dogs well and has a firm grasp on all the essential elements necessary to effectively train dogs and their owners. Anyone seeking training help should consider Wayne --he is a true expert in his field.

I originally called Wayne to help me with some dog aggression issues that I was experiencing with Kona (an adolescent Great Dane). He took time to get to know Kona and myself before jumping in with a "solution" to our problems. Wayne understood that I love dogs (more than most people), but that I could not tolerate her aggressive behavior toward other dogs. The techniques that Wayne used provided very fast and positive results, and at the same time were very humane. He did not use a “one size fits all technique” but customized his training to specifically deal with Kona's and my own personalities. He gave me the confidence and skills to deal with Kona and he gave Kona the confidence to handle unfamiliar things. Wayne always takes time to explain the "rationale" behind the dogs' behavior and why certain techniques work better than others. All of the training was very specific to Kona and me, which is why I think we had such fabulous results.

It has been a great learning experience for both of us working with Wayne. Wayne is more than a trainer ... he has become a true friend! I highly recommend Wayne! He's the best!
